Have I told you lately that I love you?

I am aware we aren’t perfect for each other, but it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t “be”. We are nothing alike, we have opposite interests and want completely different things in life. Though I won’t change, and you would never ask me to, no one has ever been able to sway me the way you can. I know I’m flighty, naive, and unrealistic. You’re honest, faithful, and patient. A future with you would be a struggle for me, but I’m willing to risk it, because you’re everything I need, and because waking up next to you, makes everything simple again.
